GAMEPLAY

We process certain information relating to Users to enable them to play the Game.


CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

 

We collect the following information from Users when they:

  • Make purchases relating to the Game via Steam (including purchases of Game packages or any products or functionalities relating to the Game): information regarding the product or service purchased and username.

  • Create a Game account: username and password.

  • Play the Game: voice recordings made by the User when playing the Game and a transcript of the User’s voice recordings when playing the Game.


HOW WE USE IT

We process this personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, being to: (i) promote the success of our business (including the Game and our related services); and (ii) ensure that Users receive a good service when using the Game. Such interests are not overridden by Users’ interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.

  • - Third-party software and technology companies in order to use third-party technology which is incorporated into the Game.

  • Financial services and software companies in order for them to provide payment processing services in relation to the Game.

  • Cloud computing platform providers in order to use their cloud computing services.

We retain voice recordings made by the User when playing the Game for < 1 second, and we retain all of the information described above until you close your Game account.

PURPOSE

 

We process certain information relating to Users to send them messages via Discord to keep them informed about our news, updates, latest projects, goods, services, promotional offers and partnerships which may interest them. Where we rely upon their consent to do this, they can withdraw their consent at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any of our emails.


CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

 

We collect Users’ names and Discord ID directly from Users when they agree to be kept informed about our news, updates, latest projects, goods, services, promotional offers and partnerships which may interest them.


HOW WE USE IT

We generally process this personal data where we have a User’s consent to do so. In other cases, for example if a User chooses not to opt-out of marketing communications when purchasing a product or service from us, we process this personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, being to promote the success of our business, our Game and related services.


RECIPIENTS

 

We do not currently share this information with third parties.

HOW LONG WE KEEP THIS INFORMATION FOR

 

We retain this information until the User withdraws their consent to send them this information, or until the User leaves our Discord channel.

We process certain information about Users in order to: (i) review and respond to their
enquiries, complaints or questions about the Game made via our Discord page; (ii) provide customer care services via our Discord page; and (iii) improve, test and monitor the quality and delivery of the Game.


CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

 

We collect the following information directly from Users when they submit any enquiries, complaints or questions: username, Discord ID and any other information that Users submit as part of their enquiries, complaints or questions.


HOW WE USE IT

 

We process this personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, being to: (i) understand how Users use our Game; (ii) promote the success of our business; and (iii) provide responsive customer care services. Such interests are not overridden by Users’ interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.


RECIPIENTS

 

We use Discord Inc.’s instant messaging and VoIP social platform in order to review and respond to their enquiries, complaints or questions about the Game. We may also use a third-party ticketing system in order to track and manage enquiries received in relation to the Game.


HOW LONG WE KEEP THIS INFORMATION FOR

We retain this information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above.

 

 

TECHNICAL


PURPOSE

 

We process certain information relating to the device on which Users are accessing the Game to: (i) identify Users; (ii) improve, test and monitor the quality and delivery of the Game; (iii) identify and correct any problems on the Game; and (iv) perform essential business operations.


CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

 

We may collect information directly from Users when they share this information directly with us via Discord: information relating to a User’s login times, the Game’s decision-making during the User’s gameplay and a User’s device (including which version of Window is used by the device, and information concerning the CPU, GPU and RAM).


HOW WE USE IT

 

We process this personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, being to: (i) promote the success of our business, our Game and related services; and (ii) further our commercial interests. Such interests are not overridden by Users’ interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.

We do not currently share this information with third parties.


HOW LONG WE KEEP THIS INFORMATION FOR

 

We retain this information until the relevant issue is resolved. We may be required to retain this information for longer if we need to do so in order to assist with fixing other issues, to improve the performance of the Game or otherwise for our internal record-keeping purposes.

3. STORAGE, TRANSFERS AND DISCLOSURE

Storage & Transfers We are based in the United States, regularly collaborate with an international network of partners and may from time-to-time use subcontractors based in other countries. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we implement certain contractual measures in order to safeguard such transfers, where required by applicable data protection laws to do so.
