Over the past year, we have developed a custom traffic injector for BeyondATC that goes beyond typical solutions. Unlike most traffic injectors that hand control off to MSFS, leading to unrealistic behaviors like spinning or head-on takeoffs, our system simulates traffic directly within BeyondATC’s 3D engine. This setup runs parallel to the simulator, with the results fed back into MSFS. We track every aspect of an aircraft's movement — bank, pitch, altitude, speed, and more — giving us full control over the skies. This allows our traffic to make intelligent decisions with a high level of situational awareness.

We’ve teamed up with popular flight sim YouTubers to bring their voices into BeyondATC! Enjoy a more immersive experience with AI-generated versions of their voices, adding a unique touch to your ATC interactions.

All AI voices have been created with their explicit consent.

Large Language Model

A LLM is an advanced machine learning system designed to understand and generate human language. In BeyondATC, it enhances flexibility in communication with ATC, allowing controllers to better interpret what you are saying - even beyond the standard predefined requests.

Improved structure

We have built a robust framework that gives the LLM a comprehensive understanding of the simulated flight environment. This framework ensures that every response aligns with the rules and logic of ATC operations. By maintaining strict "rails", the LLM avoids hallucinating instructions or responding inaccurately.

Reduced costs

Our proprietary, homegrown LLM is specifically designed for BeyondATC’s unique requirements. By running directly a distributed model instead of relying on expensive server infrastructure, we have significantly reduced operational costs. This enables us to offer this update as a free enhancement to all users.
