BeyondATC Live Traffic is here!

Today we're thrilled to announce that Live Traffic has landed in BeyondATC — and it's exactly what it sounds like. The aircraft sharing your skies are now the ones actually flying in the real world, right now.
In partnership with Navigraph, who provide near real-time traffic data powered by FlightRadar24, BeyondATC can now populate your simulator with live flights — real callsigns, real aircraft types, real airlines operating those exact routes today. Push back at your gate and the traffic around you isn't simulated history. It's what's genuinely up there at this moment.
What does that actually look like?
When you load into your departure airport, the ramp is seeded with parked aircraft as usual. But from there, Live Traffic takes over. The jet that taxis out ahead of you just started moving at the real airport. The inbound you hear on approach frequency is a genuine flight descending right now. Traffic passing through your area at cruise — that's real too, placed where those flights actually are and managed in a bubble roughly 200 nm around you that grows as you climb.
Departures only happen when the real-world counterpart actually starts moving. If a flight is already taxiing when you load in, BeyondATC places it on the taxiway where it really is. It's a level of authenticity that's hard to describe until you're sitting at a busy hub during the morning rush and realising everything around you is actually happening.
A few things worth knowing going in: the live feed provides positions, callsigns, and origin/destination pairs, but not filed routes. BeyondATC flies each aircraft along a sensible path between its two airports, so exact tracks and cruise altitudes may not perfectly match reality — especially on long-haul flights. Positions also refresh every 20 to 60 seconds, so traffic moves smoothly on BeyondATC's own path between updates rather than jumping. And for everything to line up properly, your simulator clock should be set to real-world time.
Available now in the Experimental build
Live Traffic is rolling out first in the Experimental build, exclusive to Supporters Edition owners. This lets us gather real-world feedback and keep polishing before it moves across to the Early Access build for everyone — which it will, in due course.
What you need to get started
To use Live Traffic, you'll need a linked Navigraph account with an active Unlimited subscription — this is what provides the live data. You'll also need AI traffic models installed in your community folder (FSLTL, AIG, FS Traffic, or BravoAirspace ATG on MSFS 2024). Setup is straightforward: toggle Live Traffic on in the Traffic settings and BeyondATC will guide you through linking your Navigraph account automatically.
Still completely optional
Live Traffic is an extra layer on top of what BeyondATC already does. Our schedule-based traffic isn't going anywhere — it remains part of your one-time purchase, because we're committed to keeping core features subscription-free. Live Traffic simply brings a new level of immersion for those who want it.
Full details on how it works, how to set it up, and what to expect are all covered on the wiki. Please give it a read before jumping in: https://wiki.beyondatc.net/knowledge-base/live-traffic/
Now get out there and fly. We can't wait to hear what you think.
